Ian and I first played together while Ian was the Alto Sax player for the Jive Kings. Besides the Jive Kings, I did a couple jazz gigs with him as well as recorded a 3 song Demo with him at Perry William's Studio which was comprised of two original compositions by Ian and an arrangement of Mike Ross' "Good Morning" from the Dennis Lee Project.
When I "lived" in Toronto for two months in March of 04 ( it was basically an extended vacation ), I played with Ian in a different format - his Original Singer/Songwriter material. This side of Ian, I didn't realize existed. and I was pleasantly surprised....great tunes and great fun with the handful of gigs we did in Toronto.
